PDMFU Social fund

Student Grants – Training for work scheme.

PDMFU has been allocated a limited sum of money known as the Social Fund, established through the generosity of the alumni’s, present students, philanthropists, staff and other benefactors. And,PDMFU holds limited students grants/scholarships/prizes, under the training for work scheme. Grants under this scheme are restricted to students from the following categories:

Eligibility for financial assistance

  • Prospective students who are unemployed for six months or more, preceding the start date of the programs / before admission.

  • Prospective students exposed to exclusion from work/promotions/career and business opportunities because of special needs/social factors.

  • Men and women returnees to the job market.

Subject Area

Career courses, Business Programs or Science, Engineering & Technology programs, etc., of PDMFU, which broadly speaking, means that those can be shown to improve employment prospects and career development.

The Value

The value of student grants varies between US Dollars 350 and 9500, depending on the program of study offered by PDMFU, which is deducted from the total fees payable for the duration of the course of study(subsidized).

How to apply

The joint application from for financial assistance and admissions must be completed and submitted to the PDMFU.

SUBSIDIZED FEES: All student grants/scholarships are based on the evaluation report of the applicants’ application material by the Financial Aid Committee of PDMFU, and its recommendations are final. The grants may be terminated at any time if an unsatisfactory educational progress report of the student is received from the admitting office.We believe that you fall under one of the categories above. The indicative fees for the programs, payable after deducting the financial grant, is provided below.We will let you know the exact fee amount to be paid, on your application.

In case you don’t meet the grant requirements, you will be charged the full fees for regular programs with course work, about 80% over and above the fees mentioned below, which will be communicated to you. You may remit the fees in USD or equivalent currency. Courier charges will be extra depending on your country.

The prescribed fees as mentioned below should be paid directly to (PDMFU Offshore Center & Student Support Center / Global Distributor) PDMF UNIVERSITY INDIAN CHAPTER or SUPREME TECHNO ASSOCIATES PRIVATE LIMITED. Method / Mode of Payment details will be mailed to you on admission.

Note: All students will generally receive study materials FOR FREE via the internet (except for a few courses, one will receive hard copy study materials). Some countries may have poor internet connectivity / you may want hard copies, if that is the case, you will receive hard copy study materials if you opt so, for a nominal additional payment. Please let us know, on enrolment and we will provide the information, additional costs involved.

PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FEES:

Free Tuition: Study materials are provided free of cost.

HARD COPY OF DEGREE, GRADE SHEET, VERIFICATION SERVICES, ETC.

However, in order to be sustainable, on receiving the offer of admission, the students are required to pay a nominal amount for administrative and handling fee that applies for Hard Copy Degree preparation and mailing, exam fees and providing verification services, to our third party (out sourced) student support services provider through the website.

PDMF University uses this program to pay directly to its student support services provider, and especially to support the “Tuition Free Education” project. The university through its student support services provider maintains a complete and permanent record on each degree and responds promptly to requests for validation when authorized by the recipient.
